Kindergarten School Christmas Party

Jack's school party was lots of fun.  The theme was the polar express and all the kids got to wear their PJs.  They read the book, decorated gingerbread houses, sang songs, had a snack and then there was a special visitor.

December Fun

We had freezing temperatures and ice that kept us inside for several days (check out our poor tree).  So, we decided to build a Christmas fort....

School Thanksgiving Feast

Jack's Thanksgiving Feast at school was a lot of fun this year.  The kids dressed as either Pilgrims or Indians and sang songs and then we all got to enjoy lunch outside.  One of the songs they did was about a turkey hiding from the farmer.... and Jack got to play the farmer!

Gaylord on Ice

This year we went to the Gaylord hotel to see their ice show.  It was based on the Nutcracker.  Jack loved looking at all the decorations in the hotel and then really enjoyed the ice show too.  They keep it so cold in there that they issue giant parkas for everyone to wear.  It was pretty funny!

Soccer Updates and Art

Jack has really been enjoying soccer lately.  The season has come to an end and we are taking some time off for the holidays.

He has also been doing a lot of drawing recently.  We have a few photos of works in progress.

Halloween

Fire chief Jack was ready for fun!

We went to the McKinney Scare on the Square again.  Michael joined us this year and the boys had a great time.  Then, we came home for a quick dinner and went trick-or-treating around the neighborhood with Gracelyn and Cameron.
