7 Months Old and a Trip to the Arboretum

7 months old today. Obviously.

Asleep with Baseball Bear before we head out.

With Nana K and Papa K

Jack taking interest in a flower. We had to stop him from destroying it and getting us kicked out. He was like a mini Godzilla.

Jack and me in front of some pink flowers like us manly men will do.

Take the picture. Take the picture. Will you please take the picture?

The Family.

Heather and Jack. they always take a better picture together.

After a long day, asleep at Chuy's with the Elvis statue behind him.

"I'm ready for my close-up.... and some green beans"

Here's the boy trying green vegetables on for size. Green beans to be exact. He was making the funniest faces after each bite, but keep bellying up to the bar for another mouthful. I think the middle green bean expression is a work of art. So much angst and pathos. He also patiently sat for some close-up shots while mom prepared his food.

First Veggies

Heather made up some homemade Sweet Potato baby food for Jack. He seemed to like it despite the sour faces he made every so often. Here's a funny photo of the high flying Kirby dog...

A Few New Ones

First up, a shot of the crew I run with, all relaxing on the back porch in the nice Pre-Spring weather. They're a good looking bunch for sure, but you don't want to cross them. The girl will toss that bottle of bubbles right in your face if you look at her sideways.
Next we have Jack and his first ever Bonus Gift. We got him a subscription to "Wild Baby Animals" (or something like that) Magazine and as a free gift he got a little animal plate, fork and spoon set. He seems to enjoy the plate a lot. The fork did not go well. We shouldn't have left him alone with it I suppose. (Yes Mom, I'm kidding. No need for a phone call.)
Lastly, even though it's extremely blurry, I think you can see how much fun he was having with his cereal tonight.

Ch-ch-ch-ch-changes! Six months old!

It's hard to believe we've have this little man for half a year now. I guess time really does fly. Here's his six month photo and a collage of all the past ones so you can see how much he's changed. Went to his cousin Gracie's basketball game on Friday and going to a cookout at Rick and Abby's this afternoon. Grandma and Poppa, come down and see him.
