Perot Museum, Library Events and Arboretum

We are so lucky to have an awesome library with wonderful children's programs.  Here are a couple... the first is an art lesson and the second is from the dragon-themed craft and activities event.

Mimi came to visit and we took Jack to the Perot museum for their dinosaur exhibit.  He loved digging for fossils.

We also got to go to the Arboretum with Aunt Cindy, Mimi, Aunt Hazel and Cousin Terri.  It was such a nice day and we all had a great time.

We also went to the Perot Museum with Michael and the boys got to see a 3-D movie, which they thought was super cool!

Special Day and Tae Kwon Do Classes

As an Easter gift from Nana and Papa K, Jack got to try out a couple of Tae Kwon Do classes.  He really enjoyed them.

Jack also got to celebrate his special day at school.  He decorated a poster with things he loves and got to bring in a few items for show and tell.  He brought his Which Way USA magazine that Granma and Poppa got him.  It is filled with puzzles and activities for each state and he loves it!

Easter Fun 2014

Easter Egg Hunt with Gracelyn and Cameron at a neighborhood park.

Easter basket surprises.

Meeting the Easter Bunny at the Allen Easter Extravaganza!  They had many games and activities set up for the kids.  Jack had loads of fun and even won a drawing for an Easter basket from the Allen Parks and Recreation department.

Easter fun with Michael.

A few photos that got missed

Jack dressed up for career day at school.  He wants to be a super-spy, detective guy (think CIA).  Or, as he told his teacher.... he would work for the government agency, C3PO.

St. Patrick's Day.  Excited to see that the leprechaun had sprinkled green sugar on his breakfast!

Heading off for picture day at school.

On a nice spring day, we stopped at the pond to feed some ducks.

Arboretum

We visited the Dallas Arboretum several weeks ago for the annual Dallas Blooms.  We had lots of fun looking at the beautiful flowers and playing in the Children's garden.  Jack even got to assist an arboretum volunteer with analyzing the pond water.  And, another first, was that he and Cal found a small snake slithering through the gardens.  A great time was had by all!
